Maklumat yang diperolehi daripada senarai tempahan permainan video di gamestop.com hampir mengesahkan mengenai penangguhan pelancaran F.E.A.R 3 pada Oktober 2010 ini walaupun belum ada penjelasan lanjut daripada Warner Bros mahupun Day 1 Studios. Masih belum ada tarikh muktamad untuk pelancaran baru permainan ini. Cuma penulis berharap ia tidak dilancarkan pada suku pertama 2011 di mana begitu banyak senarai permainan video bakal dilancarkan ketika itu. Sekadar menyebut beberapa tajuk, antaranya adalah Dead Space 2, Crysis 2, Bulletstorm dan Killzone 3.
